Saturday, November 11, 2023 | Spy Coast Equine Education Center | 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Kentucky middle and high school students of all backgrounds are invited to attend the inaugural "Equine is for All" event on Saturday, November 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Spy Coast Equine Education Center. Attendees and their families will learn more about the equine industry, equine educational programs and the variety of career paths throughout the equine industry. All experience levels are encouraged to register. No horse handling experience is needed to participate.

This event is organized by Frankie's Corner Little Thoroughbred Crusade and Junior MANRRS in collaboration with the UK Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment.

Registration Information

There is a $5.00 registration fee for the program that will cover materials, program t-shirt, prizes, and lunch. Please send checks to the Office of Diversity, 305 Charles E. Barnhart Bldg., Lexington, KY 40517, or Cash App $jermofcltc. If you have any challenges paying, we do offer scholarships. If you need a scholarship, email fcltc22@gmail.com. In the subject line, include: Equine is for All.

Frankie’s Corner Little Thoroughbred Crusade (FCLTC) introduces youth to various aspects of the equestrian world. We provide a free hands-on education in equestrian and horsemanship fields for youth in Lexington, KY. Youth learn everything from basic horsemanship to advanced riding and ranch living.
