The Office of Diversity strives to be a positive resource for those that look to us for information and enrichment. In an effort to maintain that effort, we have provided pertinent information that will keep you informed about diversity and cultural differences as they apply to the student body of the University of Kentucky. The University of Kentucky and the College of Agriculture, Food, and Environment are actively dedicated to developing a diverse atmosphere that enriches students and equips them for the global community. It is through this educational effort that we develop future leaders and innovators.
The Kentucky: By The Numbers program is designed to address challenges associated with the changing landscape of secondary data by enhancing skills in using secondary data for local decision-making.
Through county Extension agents, statewide programming, web access, and direct assistance, the primary elements of the program are:
a) training in the skills needed to accurately utilize secondary data;
b) resources to assist with accessing and using secondary data;
c) provide specialized in-depth analyses and assistance;
d) web-based access to resources and materials; and
e) easy-to-use, locally relevant secondary data.
